Cadiz

Now Thibault took a bit of a downer on Cadiz. And of all you do is walk up the one side of the coast to the cathedral well I can see his point. Especially on a cloudy day. I mean, nice beach but nothing startling.

Although not every day you come across a football pitch in a moat outside the city walls...

So Thibault gave up and returned to the hotel to catch up with some rest. And I went on further. Which meant as it turned out, all the good bits. And the weather cleared up too..

In particular, at the head of the peninsula there is a beautiful semi-tropical park.

Basically Thibault missed out. While Central Cadiz is a bit of a commercial dump, if you just persevere....
