Samara Village and beach

It was about a 20 minute walk from my hotel to the village. This was a pleasant enough stroll by day, but less attractive by night when the street lights go from faint to none at all. But I decided to potter into the village, which of course is primarily a place of tourist bars, restaurants and souvenir shops, on a bright and sunny morning. Pleasantly pastoral; on the way.

.

And the beach is justly touted as one of the nicest on the Pacific. It is easily large enough to absorb the surfers etc who come here.

Obviously there is only so much wandering along a tropical beach a man can do before one needs a Japaneses Iced Tea. No lack of trendy but relaxed tropical cocktail bars at the back of the beach.
