Ness Gardens

After the bird reserve (and a well deserved pub lunch) we visited nearby Ness Gardens. So be prepared for some flower portraits....

This is Ness Henge. Incredibly disappointing as henges go. Constructed not c2500BC, but in the 21st century. Basically some lumps of rock.

And I note this as the only Mesocosm I have ever seen. A research facility for water fleas...

What every kitchen garden needs - a giant stone penguin decorated with cauliflowers. You saw it here first....David eyeing it with appropriate bemusement.
