Chiswick House and Gardens

 One of my favourite places on Earth is Chiswick House. Designed by the 3rd Earl of Burlington (known as the architect earl), with the gardens designed by William Kent, this an homage to classical traditions. It is superb on a sunny day. Arcadia.

And my idea of heaven was topped off by a vanilla ice cream.

Unfortunately for obvious reasons I couldn't visit the house, but have been in before and it is exquisite.  But anyway, I will just leave you with the photos. There are a lot. But it is just such a beautiful place to wander around in.

I am a sucker for a good Grecian Urn...
