Bath - Roman Baths and canal walk

So, after a very long gap with the pandemic, I finally got to make a visit to my friends in Bath. I came down for Friday lunchtime which allowed for a nice schedule of afternoon and evening activities.

Starting with a walk down the canal.

Then a trip to the Holburne Museum which has a Canaletto exhibition on at the moment, basically taking a roomful of Canalettos from Woburn Abbey while the gallery is being refurbished.

Finishing off with an evening at the Roman Baths. No bathing involved, but there was a glass of champagne by the main bath to look forward to.

Model of the Roman bath complex in ancient times.

A clever display of the limited amounts of Roman carving they have with lighting to show the rest, and add original colour.

And coins in a pool
