The plan for our last full day was to drive to Marbella, have a quick walk, do lunch and finish in Malaga. Well the drive to Marbella was certainly scenic...
But Marbella was very disappointing. Trust me far less attractive overall than these photos suggest.
And a rather better shot of a red squirrel!
They don't make walls like these any more.
Thibault once more on his mobile waiting patiently for me to finish off round the Alcazaba.
Of course, there is a cathedral
And so ended a long week in Andalusia, flying out Friday night and returning Sunday morning. Another superb holiday really. Lovely warm weather in September, lots of wonderful cities and scenery crammed into a short space of time. With wonderful food at surprisingly low prices. And of course excellent company too from my indefatigable tour organizer, Thibault. And only two weeks before we would head off again to Italy in our search for places to go that would take us despite Covid measures and before the decent weather disappeared.
