Arcade Fire at the O2

If Arcade Fire are in town you have to go to see them. Simply one of the greatest, most talented bands of the 21st century. Every album is a classic. Their music is wonderfully complex, their sound superb. So worth going even to the horrible soulless O2 to see them. Get there early enough and you can get to the front and ignore everything behind you. Also avoid drinks - exorbitantly expensive and takes forever to get served.

This tour was blighted by the latest ridiculous "boycott" suggestions because some women had made allegations of some sort of sexual impropriety against Win Butler, unproven and just a sign of our times that anyone famous is fair game for trying to extort some cash. Anyway, there were no lack of fans at this gig. Win is a class act. They did a lovely tribute to the Queen. Superb performance as ever. Will see them the next time, whenever that is!

As I said, no shortage of audience.
