I think this exhibition was put together because Musee Rodin in Paris is being refurbished. So time to put some of its sculptures on the road. And this show was meant to reveal how Rodin was inspired by classical statues, especially those from the Parthenon.
Anyway, a good opportunity to see some great sculpture in the British Museums new(ish) exhibition halls.
