Sun out, its actually warm. And my garden is beginning to bloom. Still horribly overgrown - didn't cut back enough over the winter. But my two trips in a day to Crews Hill's garden centres, carrying back as many garden plants as I could manage on the train, have not all been in vain. Nor the prodigious amount of slug pellets festooned on my beds, leaving them looking like snail Armageddon. But when its my petunias and dahlias at stake, its war.
