For the last day of my sojourn in Cheshire we headed off to Dudmaston Hall. As stately home, but with a quirk in that the owners haven't just got a collection resulting from some 18th century grand tour, but a collection of early 20th century modern art by Matisse and the like. To be fair this is not a top notch collection - the owners were not that wealthy, but it was an interesting diversion from the norm. Still the best part were the woodland walks around the lake.
