Navajo Bridge

After our Canyon walk the rest of the day was spent driving to Page in Arizona. Big open scenery along the way. Thibault occasionally let us out for photo stops.

This did have some of the emptiest areas we drove through. And the longest straightest roads. At least overtaking was easy.

And on our way we crossed the Colorado on the Navajo Bridge. Well you have to as its about 600 miles to the nearest crossing.

One of the remarkable things to see here are the Californian condors. Indeed one was sitting on the bridge beneath us, hence the bird's eye view of one of these huge birds - a wingspan of some 9 feet.

And so we settled into Page at a Best Western hotel and went off for dinner. Another steak night.
