A new football ground for my collection - Palmerston Park - home of Queen of the South. With a home near Dumfries, Jae and his son have rather taken to Queen of the South, the Doonhamers. They had a good season last year in Scottish division one, but didn't start so well this season, including this 1-0 defeat to Peterhead.
This is old school football. Attendances around the thousand mark - old style floodlight pylons. Very relaxed atmosphere. But surprisingly cultured football. Far from kick and rush. An entertaining afternoon.
