Parque Maria Luisa and the Universidad

I finally made the Park on a day it was open, but on an overcast day. And a very attractive park it is too.

Main feature of the park is the impossibly grand Plaza de Espana, built for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition. True extravagance.

The university building is open for anyone to wander in. They had a very fine exhibition of plaster casts on which I rather enjoyed. For free.
