I had fond memories of my previous visit to the Alcazar. last century. I enjoyed it less this time. The difference? Tourists. So my tip would be to go here later in the afternoon when there are fewer tour groups. They are just so intrusive. And indeed so are some of the individual travellers, particularly those who read out aloud (and badly) extracts from their guidebook to their partners. Oh and the accoustiguide was awful. In terminable explanations in monotonous tones, and that's only when you can make it work after stabbing the buttons furiously. Or possibly I have just become a grumpy old man.
