Regents Canal

Not a lot to say about this walk, other than I enjoyed it very much, just chatting to my friend Erika as we strolled along. And the sun started to come out just as we set off after a very grey morning, so just very nice. Decent number of photos so here goes, starting from the point the Regents Canal disappears into the Islington Tunnel and going on to London Zoo......

I had done this walk many years ago, so long ago that it predated the Kings Cross development, which offered us a nice little detour. Here you can see the old gas holders converted into Yuppie flats. Done a decent job I think...

One of the holders has been turned into a tiny park with mirrored pillars.

Best  atmospheric industrial shot. I feel this is crying out to be turned into an album cover for a gritty indie band...

This section around Camden Lock includes countless little kiosks each offering a different type of food. Fancy Dutch Pancakes or Colombian Street Food today?

And away from the canal, here is a magpie surrounded by cherry blossom
