While Eoin would have been up for Seville's art gallery I actually went on one of my morning jaunts. Its a lovely gallery in a converted convent, so in addition to a fine collection it is also built around three old patios so frankly the building itself is worth a visit. The collection is a Spanish one, not an international one, so not a national collection like the National Gallery or the Rijksmuseum. Fortunately that leaves a manageable collection of very good paintings, with Murillo and Zurbaran to the fore. I had a very pleasant couple of hours going around the 14 galleries at my own pace with few other tourists to disturb me.
