Bundala National Park

Back on safari again

 A lanager monkey
 And a macaque

 A cormorant tree

A pair of little green bee-eaters

Yellow-wattled lapwings showing off their wattles

A monitor lizard on the prowl

At the edge of the park are some cliffs with a beach below

The major reason for standing on the cliff is that below in the crashing waves were turtles. I am afraid the best I can do is show a photo of our party looking at the turtles. They only appear fleetingly and no way could I be quick enough to snatch a photo.

Under these waves there were turtles. Honest

A troupe of monkeys on the road. Entertaining and not very shy.

And our last wildlife sighting of the day was a large terrapin crossing the road
