Parque da Maria Luisa and the Archaeological Museum

Parque da Maria Luisa looks much better in the sun

At one side of the park is the spectacular Plaza de Espana, designed for the Spanish American Fair in the Twenties. It is a wonderful sight, but just not very useful for anything.

This is the folk museum. Attractive exterior, but I just don't do folk.

The Archaeological Museum is not very large, but covers pre-history as well as the substantial Roman remains in the area.
