I had never been to this flower show before - supposedly the biggest. Could not have had a more glorious day for it. Nor a prettier setting than Hampton Court.
As for the show itself, well the problem was that there were not enough gardens. It might claim to be the biggest flower show, but it doesn't have the most flowers. Rather it is a flower show and it covers the largest area, although a very substantial p[art was just an upmarket shopping mall of stalls with no garden connection at all. Jewellery, handicrafts, food, cards, etc. Plus a lot of stuff that was only vaguely connected with gardens, like hot tubs or patio furniture.
There was one huge marquee devoted to selling plants, with umpteen specialist growers and all very impressive.
