Lake Garda

Monday was my chosen day for Lake Garda. Most museums and places of interest in Italy are shut on a Monday, so this is a good day to choose to do something outdoors. Lake Garda is also very easy to reach from Verona - the station at Desenzano del Garda is only 20 minutes or so from Verona. And it is a very pretty little town in its own right. So we walked into the harbour area, then along the lake shore.

And then back to climb up to the castle for the views.

And finally I persuaded Mike that the best thing to do was go on a boat around the lake, which we duly did.
