New York, Brooklyn Bridge, Broadway and Times Square

Another day of doing touristy things in the Big Apple. Which means of course a lot of tall buildings, even if older ones from the early 20th century.

A walk across Brooklyn Bridge is a tourist activity in its own right, signified by the huge number of stall selling tourist tat that line the approaches. I bought a New York baseball cap. One just has to.

The bridge offers great views of the skyline, which of course you don;'t get from being right in the middle of all those skyscrapers.

Brooklyn warehouses

In the evening we went to Broadway. Got to do a Broadway musical.

We went to see Hadestown.

In a fine old theatre

From which we headed to Times Square.
