And one can dine overlooking the Nile. Barbecue. Not the best food in the world, but not bad. And I didn't get food poisoning, which according to my guide book is almost inevitable in Egypt because of hygiene standards. I can see why. On a taxi ride into town on the main road in Luxor, a sort of dusty equivalent top the North Circular, I saw a butchers with carcasses hanging outside the shop. And remember it gets up to 30C here even in winter.. Shudder.
I guess this is more twilight than sunset...
