A religious interlude.

Finding that I had missed a 9 o'clock train to Caserta and there wasn't another for 2 hoursi used the time to take in some churches.

First up - here is my "local " San Giovanni Maggiore. Note the common feature with most Neapolitan churches - the awful graffiti. Nothing is sacred here from the aerosol can.



But the interior is really lovely and graceful.
