My last day in Naples so I decided to go up the hill called Vomero. Luckily there are funicular railways to take you up the steep incline. Unluckily I didn't realise that there were stops on the way. So I got out at the first and then faced the climb. And it was a fair old winding climb, as you can see.
The prize for eventually getting to the top, apart from the views, the Certosa di San Marco, a fourteenth century monastic complex.
The chapel is very attractive.

And there is an exhibition of these Neapolitan nativity scenes. Below are very old figures.
Which eventually turned into these massive scenes. Phenomenal, but the holy family get rather lost in the melee.
