We had arrived in Seville on a Sunday evening so we just settled in and had dinner at very nice restaurant (Bartola) around the corner from our apartment.
And Monday (being a day when a lot of attractions were closed) I suggested should just be for a walk around a bit of orientation. So this entry is basically a random selection of photos from our walk
Plaza Santa Cruz with its seventeenth century iron cross
The Jardines de Murillo (the painter was born nearby) with its monument to Christopher Columbus
The slightly odd looking appendage halfway up the pillars is a bronze model of his ship the Santa Maria
The cathedral
The Archbisop's Palace
