Lee Valley at Cheshunt

A trip a little further afield courtesy of my mate John. We drove up to the Lee Valley Park by Cheshunt and went for a walk. Fittingly following the recent death of Prince Philip....



The park is created out of various old gravel quarries along the Lee Valley, providing plenty of space for shallow pools. 











The park also has some nice quirky bits of sculpture..



Below is meant to be the "bones" of a Viking ship.


The canal runs through the park, so there is scope for a pleasant tow path stroll as well



Some odd sculptures on the barges too.
