Even more Charlottenburg

Possibly the most tasteful edifice in the Palace complex is the Schinkel designed Neuer Pavilion.If I could choose a building in the country this might well be the structure I would pick.


















 









 It contains a nice collection of German romantic works.











Then out into the gardens, part landscaped, part formal.
































































 The Belvedere houses a fabulous porcelain collection, although I can imagine Berlin porcelain wouldn't be to everyone's tastes. A little showy.






























 Water-lillies - Monet eat your heart out.



















 The Mausoleum (every big house should have one) is also very tasteful. And well-hidden - ie I struggled to find it.
