Seville from the Guadalquivir river

A nice little trip in Seville is to go up and down the Guadalquivir on one of the big pleasure boats. they all plough the same space, but its a pleasant late afternoon jaunt. It starts from the Torre del Oro, a rather striking tower on the river - there used to be a pair on the other side) which is now a maritime museum.

The most striking points are unsurprisingly the bridges, and the huge new tower of offices that is going up. Totally out of scale to anything around, which sticks up like a sore-thumb, or at least like a lipstick container.
