Opening act was the very credible Snuts, a Scottish indie band who were going to headline Brixton themselves later in the year. Generally very good set
But the crowd was here to see the Kooks. this was the middle night of a three night sell out performance at Brixton, London's biggest real theatre venue. Their popularity surprised me, as I rather felt their day had gone with their excellent debut album, Inside In Inside Out, fifteen years ago. But no, this was a young audience who had clearly picked up on them more recently.
