We followed up our morning and lunch in Noto with a walk into this coastal nature reserve. We arrived at the muddy car park to find bedraggled rain soaked locals heading back to their cars. Weather forecast was for sun with just a 10% chance of rain. This was the 10%. I suggested we hold off in the car for a few minutes and my patience was rewarded. The rain eased off to nothing and we were able to enjoy a pleasant walk around the lagoons.
The main attraction at this time of year are European flamingos. And we wee not disappointed. They were here in huge numbers
