Cape Town

I had a morning to look around Cape Town before heading off to Frankschhoek, so I had a general walk about

I went into St Georges Cathedral. Now this is a fine example of what to do with underutilised church buildings. The crypt is used aa a Jazz Club!

More interesting than the cathedral, and more welcoming, was the Groote Kerk. I had never seen a church where it was all closed pews

Then I went for a walk alongside and later through the Company Gardens which are beautiful

This is the view when you poke your camera through the above gates!

At the top of the Company Gardens is the South African Museum, which I had never previously visited. It is largely a natural history museum, but starts off with some cave paintings
