The Huguenot Museum and Monument

I had a morning in Frankschhoek before I needed to head to Johannesburg for my safari so inevitably I took the opportunity to visit the Huguenot Museum. Actually there are several parts to it. The section where you buy tickets is very provincial museum in style with dusty display cabinets with old heirlooms and photos from the old Huguenot lifestyle in he area

Then across the road is the section with more imaginative and modern displays in an awesomely pretty setting

And there is a perfume museum. Why not?

The church was hosting an exhibition of floral displays which were extremely impressive.
